June 22, 2020 – LinkedIn: Job and career fairs pop up during economic downturns as ways for communities and organizations to highlight employers that are still hiring despite the difficult environment. While the global pandemic may prevent people from physically gathering for those events, it’s not stopping virtual job fairs from taking place.
Virtual job fairs are obviously different from their in-person equivalents, but the goal is usually the same. The events are ways for job seekers to meet prospective employers to learn about their businesses and available positions.
