For 29 years, Magic Moments Early Learning Centre has provided early childhood programs to families in Tignish, including an infant program, a family group program for children ages two to five, a pre-kindergarten French immersion program, and an after-school program.
“We pride ourselves in having earned the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Early Childhood Education,” says Tracy Doyle-Arsenault, Owner/Operator. “The children in our community are our future, and it takes a community to raise a child. We are happy to be recognized as an important part of that community.”
Hiring practices
Magic Moments continuously accepts resumés to fill casual, part-time, or full-time positions as they become available.
“You don’t have to be bilingual, but you will need to pass a criminal record and vulnerable sector check and have obtained first aid training. We provide any other training before you start.”
While post-secondary education is not required, the right candidates will have a desire to continue their education to continue working in this field, she says. “The important thing is that new hires must be willing to obtain their Level 3 certification in Early Learning and Child Care.”
How to apply
“My staff and I look forward to many more wonderful years working here and I am happy to accept resumés,” says Tracy. “Apply today, and if your application is successful, we look forward to welcoming you to our amazing team.”
