March 17, 2021 – Government of PEI: New investments in post-secondary education will ensure finances do not limit student achievement. The Province of Prince Edward Island is investing over $2 million to lower the cost of post-secondary education for students and to support them on their path to success after graduation.
“Helping students by reducing barriers to post-secondary education is an essential part of our COVID economic recovery, says Minister of Education and Lifelong Learning Natalie Jameson.
“We are very proud of the quality learning that our provincial post-secondary institutions provide, ensuring that today’s students have the opportunity to be tomorrow’s entrepreneurs, innovators and workers.
“We will continue to look at options to improve access to post-secondary education and also find more ways to retain Island graduates in our province.”
