The college promotes its programs and the related industries at Skills Canada competitions locally and nationally, and offers campus tours to high school students and career exploration programs such as Career Bridges and Trade HERizons.

Holland College was named one of Canada’s Top Research Colleges in 2017 by Research Infosource Inc.
“Applied research allows us to leverage the employees, expertise and facilities within the college,” says Kent Sheen, Manager in the Technology and Trades department. “We work with many government organizations such as NSERC and NRC-IRAP to secure funding for research. We have also worked with non-profit organizations such as Mitacs Canada to get student research grants.”
Brodie O’Keefe, Customized Training Coordinator at Holland College, says the college’s experienced and professional staff is willing to work with industry.
“We collaborate with businesses to design customized learning plans to meet their performance needs. The college is flexible, and offers training at the workplace or at any of our 12 campuses across PEI.”
