Jasper Wyman & Son Canada Inc. is a vertically integrated wild blueberry company, a major grower, and a processor of wild blueberries in Canada, with thousands of acres of fields and a fully functioning processing plant located in Morell.

There are approximately 80 full-time employees at the Morell location. There are 60 job vacancies for the seasonal harvest season, from late July through mid-September.

“Seasonal employment is generally between five to eight weeks, but we are anticipating it to run six to eight weeks this year,” says Wade Dover, General Manager of Jasper Wyman & Son Canada Inc.

The seasonal positions include:

• Building Cleaners
• General Labourers
• Forklift Drivers
• Quality Control Techs
• Receivers
• Supervisor

“All the positions are challenging to fill, but the night shift positions are generally more difficult to fill,” says Wade. “Also, good Forklift Drivers are difficult to find for that short period.”
