Home Instead employs approximately 80 people working part-time and full-time hours.
“At the moment, our hiring is on hold,” says Debbie Savage. “As with most companies, COVID-19 has affected our business as well. During the past two months we have been providing service only to clients who required essential service.
“This is gradually changing, as restrictions are being lifted and clients’ and caregivers’ comfort level changes. I’m hoping within the next few weeks that we will be in a position to hire caregivers once again.
“When we hire Caregivers, we look for people with a variety of skills, experience, and availability, because our clients have a wide range of needs. We look for individuals who have have the right personality: compassionate, caring, flexible, and dependable.”
