GED Preparation – The GED Preparation class helps you prepare for the GED exam by providing a general review of basic academic skills. Subjects include writing, social studies, science, literature and mathematics. The GED exam gives adults who have not graduated from high school the opportunity to earn a high school equivalency certificate.
Anyone interested in GED must first write the Official Practice Test, free of charge. To sign up for a practice test in Charlottetown and East, contact Sharon Campbell at 902-566-9628, [email protected].
In Summerside and West, contact Susan Williamson at 902-888-6495 or email [email protected].
High School Credits – You can acquire high school credits or upgrade existing marks to meet the admission requirements of post-secondary institutions, or to complete requirements for the PEI High School Graduation Certificate for Mature Students.
Attend classes during the day or evening at one of eight centres across the province.
The day program is offered in three intakes of 8-week semesters per year. Classes begin October 28, 2019.
The night program is offered in two intakes of 17-week semesters per year. Classes begin August 26, 2019.
