Forever Healthy – Hiring practices

June 1, 2020

Pat MacKinnon, Owner/Franchisor.

Forever Healthy aims to improve the overall health and well-being of individuals by eliminating underlying allergies.

At the first meeting with the client, a medical history is taken and a computerized allergy screening is done. Subsequent visits include the application of acupuncture and other techniques to eliminate the allergy or sensitivity.

COVID-19 response

“We are excited to finally reopen our doors on May 25th, 2020,” says Pat MacKinnon, Owner. “We will reopen under the various restrictions, precautions and directives of the Prince Edward Island Public Health Office. The health and safety of our Forever Healthy family, including our clients and staff, are our greatest concern.

“We still offer distance treatments for anyone who is interested. We are all looking forward to seeing existing and new clients again.”

Business details

There are seven locations across the Maritimes – four in New Brunswick, two in Nova Scotia and one on PEI. The Charlottetown location employs two Allergy Elimination Practitioners, two Receptionists and one Office Manager.

The business started in Charlottetown in April 2000. Pat began working as a Practitioner there in 2002, and took over the business in 2006.

“I am a Registered Nurse and I studied allergy elimination techniques in California,” says Pat. “I have also studied acupuncture, along with a number of other modalities. I take continuing education courses on Allergy Elimination every year.

“We are always looking at bringing more education and experience to each treatment.”
