Building Inclusive Pathways: Advancing Self-Employment for Neurodivergent

The Conference Board of Canada, in collaboration with the Future Skills Centre, has been conducting a national research study exploring the challenges and opportunities faced by neurodivergent individuals pursuing self-employment, and the support structures needed to better facilitate their inclusion in the workforce.

We invite Canadian professionals involved in the creation, implementation, and analysis of policies related to employment, disability, inclusion, and entrepreneurship to join an engaging session where we will present initial insights and findings from the study.

Following the presentation, we will host a focus group discussion with policy professionals to help refine the study’s recommendations. Your insights will be invaluable in shaping these recommendations through a policy lens, identifying how existing policies can be improved, and determining which new policies are needed to better support neurodivergent self-employed individuals.

This is a unique opportunity to influence policy change that supports inclusive employment pathways for neurodivergent Canadians. We look forward to your participation in collaboratively shaping the future of neurodiversity in self-employment policy.
