All French-speaking entrepreneurs – and especially new ones – are invited to participate in a free online course on planning and preparing a business budget. The three-hour training will be divided into two 90-minute blocks, delivered via Zoom on Sept. 21 and 23 and beginning at 6:30 p.m. each evening.
These courses are part of the Successful Business Basics training series offered by Rural Action Centres across the province. This time, it is being offered especially through the Wellington Rural Action Center, in collaboration with the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI.
The trainer will be Barbara Pinto of Souris, who has been delivering this training since 2016. Pinto was an accountant and controller for many years in Montreal before moving to the Island in 2009. She runs two businesses, Barb’s Bookkeeping and Mama B’s Spice Blends.
The training includes hands-on exercises. Pinto will send participants all the materials they need as well as the Zoom link for the training.
To register free of charge, by Sept. 16, contact Josée Ouellette at (902) 854-3439, ext. 228, or [email protected].
