Generation Startup is a 2016 documentary that takes us to the front lines of entrepreneurship, capturing the struggles and triumphs of six recent college graduates who put everything on the line to build startups in Detroit. Shot over 17 months, it’s an honest, in-the-trenches look at what it takes to launch a startup.

How to Fund Your Business: A Panel Q&A
Do you have a business idea but don’t know where to get the funding? Maybe your company is ready to expand but you need more capital do get the job done. You’re definitely not alone!
Experts from Innovation PEI, CBDC, BDO, and Island Capital partners to come together for a panel Q&A and they’ll be ready to answer any of the questions you might have about how to raise the capital you need.

Epic Fail Night: Inspirational Stories of Success
Often times in business, people are afraid to say the f-word: “failure”, but ask any great entrepreneur and they will tell you that the path to success is often lined with all kinds of epic fails, and these hard-earned failures are healthy functions of entrepreneurship that point great business owners onto the path they are destined for. So Startup Zone is welcoming you to an evening dedicated to celebrating failure in all forms, and we will be featuring three incredible entrepreneurs who have faced unique challenges and have continued to push forward to grow their business.
This will be a fun event filled with great stories, craft beer, and probably a few laughs.
