May 31, 2022 – CASTL: The Canadian Alliance for Skills and Training in Life Sciences (CASTL) welcomes three additional members to their technical training team. New CASTL trainers, Paul-Xavier Etter, Hardik Upadhyay and Wasim Abbasi bring their industry experience to delivering CASTL’s bioprocessing training programs across Canada.
“Our team is growing with biopharma manufacturing experienced professionals who will support training to meet the needs of industry now and into the future,” said Patrick Daoust, CASTL Director of Technical Training, “With a combined 40 years of biotech experience, our new trainers will provide training in all aspects of biopharma manufacturing. I’m pleased to welcome Paul, Wasim and Hardik to the CASTL team.”
A unique partnership between academia, industry and government to address the skills and training needs of Canada’s life sciences sector, CASTL is the exclusive provider of the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT) licensed training programs in Canada.
Based in Ireland, NIBRT develops and delivers state-of-the-art training and education programs for the world’s leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing companies and partner academic institutions.
CASTL’s technical training team will deliver the NIBRT curriculum through in-person and virtual theoretical training as well as hands-on training at one of CASTL’s Canadian biomanufacturing training facilities.
