Canada Border Services Agency, across Canada
Jobs: Border Services Officers to work across the country.
Border Services Officers are law enforcement professionals who keep Canadians safe by stopping weapons, drugs, and inadmissible people from entering Canada. Careers could be with a highway, air, marine, or rail port of entry or a postal facility.
Recruits must successfully complete a training program and an officer trainee development program. Officers gain on-the-job experience, coaching and constructive feedback to learn how to apply their newly-acquired knowledge and skills to respond to dynamic border issues.
To apply, visit the CBSA website. Once selected, training and development takes up to two years. It starts with four weeks of online training and then 18 weeks of training in Riguad, Quebec.
