Volunteer opportunities abound at Beach Grove Home and are seen as crucial in promoting the well-being of residents.
The benefits of volunteering are very much mutual. Volunteers may gain valuable exposure and experience for their career aspirations.
Volunteers at Beach Grove Home enhance the programs offered through the Recreation Department. Some examples include assisting with the canteen, parties, socials, pastoral care, reading mail, plant care, individual visiting, visiting with pets, assisting residents to appointments at the hair salon, sharing talents such as music and art, and assisting residents with shopping.
