We’re reaching out to ask for your assistance for much-needed volunteers for the West Royalty Community Fridge! This important community resource helps ensure that everyone in this area has access to fresh, nutritious food—and we need your help to keep it running smoothly.
The fridge is located just behind the West Royalty Community Center. Applicants can register at the Gifts From The Heart head office located at 10 Maple Hills Avenue, Charlottetown. Volunteers are requested to register from Monday to Thursday at 3 pm. Volunteers can elect to work one of two shifts. Morning from 9 am to 1 pm or Afternoon from 1 pm to 5 pm.
Volunteer roles may include:
- Stocking and organizing the fridge
- Serving the Public
- Checking expiry dates and maintaining cleanliness
Whether they can help once a week or a few times a month, their time and energy can make a real difference. Training and support will be provided for all volunteers.
