PERCÉ, coordinated by RDÉE ÎPÉ, is a program that helps PEI bilingual students find summer employment in their field of study on PEI. The program accepts grade 12 students heading into their first year of post-secondary as well as students who are already enrolled in a post-secondary institution.
PERCÉ participants will not only gain great work experience in their field, but they will also benefit from various workshops the PERCÉ program offers. These workshops will help develop many professional skills that will better prepare them for the workforce.
In addition, employers who hire a PERCÉ participant receive a wage subsidy of $7/hour for up to 450 hours.
Priority is given to bilingual students. However, all students are encouraged to apply.
