East Coast International Trucks, located at 39 Union Road in Brackley, provides repairs and maintenance for all makes and models of trucks and trailers. With branches in PEI, Moncton, Dartmouth, and Truro, there is an ECIT team available to help.
With 11 staff at the PEI branch, including three apprentices, they are looking for both Red Seal and apprentice technicians. “I am also taking applications for a parts person,” says Patty Walfield, Parts Manager.
“Both Red Seal technicians and experienced parts people are challenging positions to fill. When we hire, job experience is always an asset, but training is provided.”
The shop also offers an after-hours service and provides warranty service for Cummins products. “Our extensive parts warehouse carries not only International parts but also a wide range of basic parts, tools, shop supplies, trailer parts, fluids and necessities for both independent garages and owner/operators.
“As a service to our customers, our outside salesperson can deliver parts, take orders, help with inventory control, source parts, and return cores to the branch.
“We also provide delivery in the Charlottetown area with a parts truck and make deliveries weekly with our supply truck to all areas of the Island for skid lots.
“We can set our customers up on Repair Link which allows them to place orders 24 hours a day, see price and availability of a part, look up parts by VIN, and do cross referencing. We also sell new trucks and trailers with the support of staff from other branches onsite part-time.”
