Seniors College of PEI

With an annual membership fee of $160, Seniors College of PEI welcomes those 50 years of age and over to enroll in as many courses as they wish during the fall (October/November), winter (January/February) and spring (April/May) semesters.

Most courses are offered during the day, Monday to Friday. The instructors or facilitators are often seniors who have either retired from the fields covered by the courses or have a long-term personal or professional interest in their subject.

There are no pre-requisites or academic requirements, no homework, no term papers or tests. The emphasis is on personal growth in a casual, friendly atmosphere that encourages social interaction and peer-to-peer learning.

More than 150 courses are offered, including topics such as computers, drawing, painting, literature, creative writing, music, religion, wellness, astronomy, languages, local history, and many more.
