What positions are you looking to fill now?
We are currently looking for permanent part-time and full-time RCWs in both nursing and community care. We are also looking to hire permanent and casual LPNs and permanent full-time Cook and Dietary Service Workers (DSW) as well.
What are the most difficult positions to fill? We are facing a nationwide shortage of Nurses, and that is one of the hardest roles we must fill. It is a very competitive market as well for Red Seal Chefs and Cook Helpers. We have had an open Cook position for the past three months and now with the seasonal work winding down, we are hopeful that we will be able to find the right candidate.
Continuous learning opportunities
Once an individual has completed their probationary period of 825 hours, staff may qualify for financial support for upgrading or returning to school, or to attend seminars and conferences.
Compensation and benefit packages
We offer competitive wages and benefits, including medical, health & dental and RRSP. Other perks include Lawton’s Discount Card & Prescription Discount, free Synergy gym membership, and the opportunity to win free massages throughout the year.
