John Howard Society

John Howard Society of PEI is a non-profit organization that works with people at risk and/or those who have come into conflict with the law to help find stable housing, employment, and develop life skills.

Through regular meetings with clients, staff can identify barriers and develop a plan to help clients learn the skills with the ultimate goal of returning to work. Staff also assist clients in tax preparation and pardon applications for their criminal records.

The John Howard Society office is located at 155 Queen St. and is open from 8 am to noon. Services offered include employment assistance, case management, and career counselling. We accept referrals from other organizations including corrections and shelters.

Those looking for employment assistance, tax preparation or other outreach services can reach a staff member at 902-566-5425.
