Eastern Fabricators, now located in Georgetown, is rapidly growing the local economy in rural PEI.
Todd Cormier, President, and Rob Mayhew, Vice President, started the company with two employees and one service truck in 2013. The company was then based at the Aspin Kemp & Associates facility in Pooles Corner.
In May 2017, the fast-growing company moved to the former Georgetown Timber Mill location at 341 Georgetown Road, and immediately created more than 23 new positions. At present, about 60 employees work with the company as it continues to grow and prosper.
Eastern Fabricators (EFI) specializes in custom designs, stainless steel manufacturing and fabrication of food processing equipment as well as pressure piping and pressure vessel fabrication, along with day-to-day service for the food processing industry at Cavendish Farms, Jasper Wyman, and other food processors across Canada.
EFI is a full service company that services its products across Canada and the eastern United States.

Staff education/training required
“Education and training requirements depend on the position. EFI hires college and university graduates, high school and GED graduates, and staff with trade designations.
EFI is currently hiring Mechanical Engineers and Skilled Tradespeople. Jobs are posted on the Job Bank, WorkPEI, social media, and other job posting sites.
