Deadline to apply for some PEI government student summer jobs: March 22

The provincial government is currently accepting applications for a variety of summer jobs for high school and post-secondary students. Most applications are due March 22, 2021.

Eligibility criteria and applications are available online for the following opportunities:

  • PEI’s Finest Golf is hiring for positions at provincially owned courses including Brudenell, Crowbush, and Dundarave. Duties include providing customer service and information to guests. Golf knowledge and bilingualism are definite assets.   • Provincial Parks student positions include lifeguarding at beaches and pools, carrying out programs and daily activities for campers. The expected hourly rate of pay in 2021 is $13.58 to $19.13. For more information and to apply, visit www.princeedwardisland.ca/en/service/apply-provincial-parks-student-positions
  • Summer Student Vacation Planner – The job includes providing visitors with information  and promoting PEI as the destination of choice. The hourly rate starts at $14.94. For more information and how to apply, visit www.princeedwardisland.ca/en/service/apply-for-summer-student-vacation-planner-job.
  • The Legislative Assembly of PEI offers several opportunities for high school and post-secondary students.
