eForcePEI.ca is a government funded initiative designed to offer small business owners and their employees skills training at NO COST since 2014.
There are over 140 FREE courses available through the program.
Using the Coursepark.com online learning platform, eForce.ca allows employees to learn in a way that is both cost effective and widely accessible.
The selection of courses is suitable for small and medium-size businesses, non-profit organizations, and individuals interested in improving their skills and knowledge. Subjects covered include Microsoft Office courses in Word and Excel, social media, small business management, HR fundamentals, and financial literacy.
Passport to Employment is designed for Island workers ages 55 to 64 who wish to re-enter the workforce. Training involves 5 weeks of classroom time. Participants enhance their job search skills, including resume and cover letter writing, interview techniques, networking, and conducting informational interviews. After the course, job search support and assistance is provided.

The Rural Action Centre in partnership with CBDC East, Innovation PEI, ACOA and Skills PEI will be hosting a workshop in Montague entitled “Business Plan Basics”.
These workshops will be held on

9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The Facilitator will be David Gamble, Breakthrough Business.
Cost is $20.00. Pre-registration and payment is required in advance to secure your seat.
